Damask Divas Claire Blog Hop

HELLO and Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop featuring the new Claire paper pack.  If you came here from Sharon Chapman's Blog, you are in the right place.  If you jumped here on your own and discovered our hop, feel free to start from the beginning HERE to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

Here is my card using the Claire paper pack and the Girls Rock stamp set.

This card is 4x6 and I used all but one B&T duo design to create a sunburst pattern.  I used Bonding Memories glue to attach the pieces to white daisy card stock and then added stitching.  This was my first time stitching a card and I think I will definitely do it again!  The heart was stamped in Hollyhock ink and I added liquid glass and then attached it to the "love" sentiment which is stamped in Sunset ink.  I hope you like my creation, feel free to leave comments, I really appreciate them :)

Supplies used:

Claire paper
Chocolate ink
Sunset ink
Hollyhock ink
Liquid glass
Buttons clear assortment
White Daisy cardstock
Bonding Memories glue

    1. Thank you! I always thought sewing on paper would be complicated but it wasn't :)

  2. Love the card and the stitching. Great job!

  3. Love LOVE your stitching, may be "scraplifting" this card design. I've stitched one time myself and I LOVE it! Well done!

  4. This is so beautiful...I could see this in a frame in a corner shelf bringing so much attention. Very lovely!

  5. Great idea for the inside of the card!!

  6. Beautiful card, I love the stitching! I need to do more stitching, have a sewing machine, but I'm afraid to use it! Again, great job, very creative!

  7. Your stamp totally sums it up! LOVE--inside, outside, and all around the rosette! Super combination of elements in the layers on it. I fainted when I saw the stitching! YOU are awesome at that! :)
