Damask Divas La Belle Vie Blog Hop

Hello and Happy New Year!  Welcome to the first Divas blog hop of the year.  If you came here from Traci Williams' blog, you are in the right place!  If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check the list at Damask Divas blog http://www.damaskdivas.com/ to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

Using the beautiful La Belle Vie paper pack, I made two different projects.  First, I made an exploding box as a present for my daughter.  She turned 5 two weeks ago and I wanted to make something special and fill it with some of her favorite things.  I also made a little charm bracelet for her.
The second layer was made with pockets for money.
Third layer has cards for messages from mom, dad sis and brother.

I couldn't leave little sister out
so I made her a little something too.

The supplies that I used are :

Since I made the box a while ago, I wanted to make something new.  I decided to dress up a plain black picture frame.

Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone!!!
Ready for Christmas??  I am!  I wanted to take a break and show the last minute cards I made this weekend.  I used the Pear and Partridge Paper and Cricut Artiste to cut and decorate these.
I used the stamp sets Card Chatter - Christmas Holidays for the mitten card and Christmas Love Holidays  for the flower card.
The flower is cut from Artiste - one at 2in and the other at 1 1/2in, spritzed with glitter and finished with a pearl.

I used cranberry bakers twine and shimmer trim to embellish this mitten card.
The mittens are cut at two inches and I used the craft room to make a shadow.
These were fairly quick and pretty easy to make, with the right supplies of course ;)

Christmas Tag Blog Hop

WELCOME!  You have now reached the end of our Christmas Tag Blog Hop.

I am very excited to participate in my very first Christmas Tag Blog Hop and share some Christmas tags that I made.  I had so many tag ideas in my head that I wanted to try, so I made more than one :)  All of my tags were made with the Close To My Heart Pear and Partridge paper pack (except for the black and gold on Santa), CTMH stamps, chipboard shapes, cranberry bakers twine, and some other embellishments.  I made most of my cuts from Cricut Artiste and Art Philosophy.  The poinsettia was cut from Joys of the Season.  I hope you like them!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed our fun Christmas creations!  If you would like to return to the beginning of this hop, just follow this link back to Amie at http://mimimyselfandibykigz.blogspot.com/2012/11/christmas-tag-blog-hop_28.html

Retiring Close To My Heart Paper Packs

Hello Crafty People!  I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on which paper packs are being retired by Close To My Heart.  Once the new Idea Book is released for Spring, the following paper packs will no longer be available:

Flirty - fun paper with wonderfully vibrant colors and flowers

La Belle Vie - a romantic and feminine pack with a French theme

As well as the seasonal holiday packs

Moonlight - playful and spooky

Pear and Partridge - a richly colored paper pack perfect for preserving Christmas memories

If you are interested in any of these papers or their accessories and kits, please visit my website HERE and make your purchases before they are gone.

The Paper packs that will carry over to the new Spring/Summer Idea book are:

Avonlea

Clementine

Dakota

Scholastic

Although these paper packs will live on, sadly, their Workshop On The Go Kits will not.  So, if you are interested in purchasing any of those, don't wait too long!
