#projectaday Day 14 - Masculine

Welcome :)
Today I would like to share with you a masculine card that I made for Day 14 of  #projectaday with Mandy Leahy.  I am so very happy that my super creative upline has created this challenge.  I have been able to create and post more when I have a specific direction.  This type of challenge keeps me from thinking too much about a project so I can actually finish something!!

I made a Masculine birthday card using the Proplayer paper pack.  I almost never make anything that isn't girlie so this was a fun challenge.  I really wanted to keep it simple.
I cut 1" strips of the b&t duos and ripped the ends off to create this look.
The stamp set that I used is called Casual Expressions (D1525).
Thank you for looking at my card today, I hope that you find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!  Visit my website to shop and find all of the great promotions happening with Close To My Heart.

#projectaday Day 13 - Sparkle

Happy Monday!!  Today my project is a Hello card.  My favorite color is green and I love glitter and all things that sparkle so this was fun for me.  This is my favorite project so far in the #projectaday challenges.  Check it out...
I used a rectangle shape from Artiste to create the chevron pattern.  I found the shape, turned it horizontally, and did a whole bunch of tweaking to get the shape I wanted.
I used the green glitter paper pack, ponderosa pine for the base and white daisy cardstock.  The "Hello" is from the stamp set called For Every Occasion (D1187).

Thank you for stopping by today to check out my latest #projectaday.  I hope you come back tomorrow to see my Day 14 - "Masculine" project.  I hope you will look around at my other posts and find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!

#projectaday Day 10 - Embellish

Good afternoon!  I am very excited to share with you my latest card creation for #projectaday.  It was yesterday's challenge but since it was my birthday I didn't have time to put together a post.  This challenge was all about embellishing.  I love buttons but never really end up using them so I wanted to make them the star of my card.

In my inspiration search on Pinterest, I came across a card using this idea.  I made it my own by using balloons to make it a birthday themed card.

It was a little tricky getting the buttons to fit together the way that I wanted but overall it was a pretty simple card.  Just make sure you have a little patience and a lot of liquid glass!

Well, thank you for visiting my blog today.   I hope that you find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!  Stay tuned for my next #projectaday.

#ProjectADay Day 8

Hello everyone, I finally had time to do another project a day :).  Today's theme is winter.  I had to do this one because it is so cold here in northern VA.  Today it is 26 degrees, but the wind makes it feel much colder.  Yesterday was in the teens and the nights are single digits.  This winter is causing me to miss SoCal much more than I already do!  So now I spend lots of time indoors taking care of my little ones and crafting :).
Here is my winter themed card.
I used the Hostess Rewards stamp set
called Wintry Wishes and the Frosted paper pack.

This card was very easy and quick to make.  I made all of my cuts by hand, did some stamping and embellishing and it was finished!

Thank you for stopping by,
I hope that you find some inspiration
to create a fun wintry craft of your own!
