Well, here it is!!

This awesome stamp set is only available for the month of April and you can get it for the special price of only $5 with a $50 purchase.  That is a great deal because this stamp set retails for $17.95.  There are tons of great new Spring/Summer items that can get you to that $50 mark such as the ones I used to create this scrapbook layout.  You can also choose to buy the stamp set by itself for the retail price of $17.95.  Either way, you are getting a fun and versatile stamp set that you can use all year long.  My inspiration for this layout came from the Spring/Summer Idea Book that you can now get directly from my website HERE.

I used Smoothie, Smokey Plum and White Daisy cardstock as my base and accented it with Purple Shimmer Trim and Purple Glitter Gems

The ink pads that I used for these are Gypsy, Smoothie, Honey, Slate, Lagoon, and Pear.  I also used my Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges.

I also used the stamp set called Girls Rock for the cute flowers and phrase.  It was perfect for these pictures of my girls and their cousins last summer.

Thank You for visiting my blog today, I hope that you like my creations and find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!!

Please visit my website HERE to make a purchase.  You can also click on the Promotions tab at the top of my shopping website to see all of the current promotions from Close To My Heart.

Tooth Fairy Door Hanger

Well, it is finally happening, my little girl is growing up!  And way too fast if you ask me :(.  She is starting school this year and she has not one, but two loose teeth!  One is almost ready to come out so I had to race to get this little project finished.  I was inspired by a fellow consultant, Damask Diva, and very talented lady - Amie Kiger.

I made this Tooth Fairy Door Hanger with the Chantilly paper pack and glitter paper.

The stamp set that I used is one of the Hostess Rewards stamp sets called - The Party Is On.  This cute stamp set can only be purchased using hostess credits that you would earn by hosting a gathering.  There are many more to choose from too.  So why not host a gathering??  Don't have time?  You can host it all online!

The small My Creations Paper Pouches (NLA) are great for adding a message and money or another small gift from the tooth fairy.  Since these paper pouches are not available anymore, these really cute burlap or muslin drawstring bags would work perfectly too!

Both of these bags are inexpensive, easy to stamp, sew on, or embellish with items like buttons, gems, glitter glitz, brads, etc.  There are so many great ways to personalize this project, you won't want to make just one!  Get started today, create a fun craft of your own!

  • Join my gathering and get a free idea book (U.S. only)
  • Spend $50 or more in my Gathering this month and get the Stamp of the Month "A Chocolate Affair"  for FREE!!

Supplies Used:
My Creations paper Pouch (nla)
White Daisy cardstock
Cotton Candy Cardstock
Ink pads - Pear, Cotton Candy
Stamp Sets - Girls Rock and The Party Is On
Sparkles Assortment pink and purple
Bonding Memories glue

My Card Using The Art Philosophy Cartridge

Today I made this card using an old Mojo Monday sketch and the Art Philosophy cartridge.  One of the things that I love about Close To My Heart is that a lot of the stamp sets will coordinate with the cuts from the cartridges.  These flowers were made using the Girls Rock stamp set and the sentiment shape came from a retired stamp called You & Me.  This card idea can be used for a number of different occasions,  I made this one as a celebration card for a birthday.

Thank you for visiting my blog!!

Supplies Used:
Art Philosophy cartridge
Girls Rock stamp set
Kraft, Lagoon, White Daisy card stock
Slate, Honey, Lagoon, Sunset, Pear, Cotton Candy ink
Bitty Sparkles
Grey Wool Bakers Twine

Art Philosophy Door Hanger

Hello and Welcome!  Today I made a door hanger using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I made this as a cute way to hold my Business cards.  My local Starbucks has a bulletin board for people to post items so I thought that this would be a great way to advertise Close To My Heart.

A little embossed dragonfly from the Dream Big stamp set.
Sentiment from the Pinwheel stamp of the Month (NLA) and shapes from the Dream Big stamp set.
Finished :)

The door hanger was cut at 10in and it is the perfect size for me to put in a bunch of business cards.  You can make this bigger or smaller to fit whatever it is that you want to hold - candy, snacks, nail items, pocket sanitizer, lip gloss, tissue, drink mixes, spices, etc.   Pick the size that suits your need and embellish away!!

Supplies Used:
Cotton Candy, Kraft, Olive cardstock
Dream Big stamp set
Pinwheel stamp set
Kudos stamp set (from the Artiste bundle)
Slate and Honey ink pad
Bakers twine, Paradise assortment
Crop a dile and 1/8 in eyelets
