Valentine's Day Cards and Treat Boxes

Valentine's Day is almost here, are you ready??  Here are three Valentine cards using the new Lollydoodle paper pack from Close To My Heart.  These are mostly hand cut with accents from Artbooking and Artiste.

Also, here are some treat boxes that can be filled with candy, stickers, jewelry, or whatever small treat you would like.
They are cut with Kraft paper from Art Philosophy at about 6" and the tags are cut from Artiste with a heart shape welded in at about 2.75".  Emboss or stamp them, add some twine or ribbon, a tag or sentiment, and they are ready to go!

Making cards and gifts are so much fun and are a great way to show how much you care.  I hope that visiting my blog today has inspired you to create a fun craft of your own!

Here is what I made for the first challenge - create something 3d.  This is an easy little box that I made using Artiste.  I used kraft paper as the base cut at 4", lagoon and white daisy for the panels and scrap pieces from Sarita for the balloon.  A few little accents with glitter paper, wooden trinket shapes and mocha adhesives and it is finished.  The stamp set is called Lifting Spirits.   I hope you like it :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope you find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!!

Artiste Halloween Treat Boxes

Who is ready for Halloween??  Im not, but I am getting close!  I was looking through one of the old idea books for inspiration and I saw a monster treat box made using the Artiste Cartridge.  I definitely wanted to recreate it and here is how it turned out.

I decided to make a girl one using one of the new paper packs called Laughing Lola.  I used heart cuts from the Artbooking cartridge to make the antennas.  The green guy was made using sweet leaf cardstock and paper from the Chantilly paper pack.  These treat boxes were cut at 5" so they are roomy enough for candy or other treats like cookies or small toys.

This treat box was quick and fairly simple to make.  I love using the Idea Books for inspiration, they are not just catalogs!  You can find the recipes for all of the projects in the current Idea Books HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you find some inspiration to create a fun craft of your own!

Items Used:
Artiste and Artbooking cartridge
Perfect Fit - Halloween stamp set
Chantilly paper
Laughing Lola paper
Sunset, Sweet Leaf, Gypsy, Cranberry, White Daisy cardstock
Black and Grey sparkle assortment
Foundry Pin Clips (while supplies last item)

Cricut Artiste Halloween Treat Box

Hello Crafty People!
Hurricane Sandy has kept me inside and allowed me to craft like crazy!  It's getting late and the power may go out so I might not be able to post all of my creations tonight.  It is crazy windy and rainy here but not anything too destructive.  We have been lucky so far and I hope everyone makes it through this hurricane safely :)
Today, I made a gable treat box using the Cricut Artiste Cart and the Close To My Heart Moonlight Paper Pack.  I also used the Tulle Ribbon, Perfect Fit - Halloween stamp, Black ink and some rhinestones.

It was very simple and quick to make.  This box can be embellished in so many ways!  It is the perfect size for candy or any small treat.  You will find this box and many more on the Artiste Cartridge as well as tons of designs to decorate it.  Order yours now and get started!
