Hey everyone! Last night I finally finished making the gifts that I will be giving to my girls in a couple of days when they become big sisters. I wanted to make something very special for them so they don't feel left out when the new baby gets a lot of attention. They are girly girls so I thought making one of the purses from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge would be perfect. I used the Clementine Paper Pack and two of the exclusive ink stamp pads in Chocolate and Sunset. Here are some pictures...
I added some little sticky pearls that I had and some velcro circles to close the tab. The purse will hold some candy or other little goodies to keep them busy. I also made a pin for them to wear when we go to the hospital. These were made with the same supplies as the purses but I cut the hearts with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge (z1686) and I used some ribbon that I had in my collection. Here are some pictures of those...
The letters were stamped with the My Acrylix stamp set Vintage Type (d1481) from Close To My Heart. I hope my girls like these and I hope you guys like them too!
Thanks for looking :)

My Creations Recipe/Photo Box Project
Today I finished this fun little photo box using the My Creations Recipe/Photo Box (item# z1322) and some Close To My Heart embellishments - Canvas Alphabet (item# z1777) and Bohemian Assortment (item# z1687). I also used ribbon and adhesive pearls from my local craft store. The paper I used is called Sonoma from CTMH but unfortunately it is no longer available. Luckily there are several new paper packs that you can choose from to create a fun and unique recipe or photo box of your own!
Happy Thursday!
Here are some cards that I have sitting in my card box that I made not too long ago.
This first one is a tri-fold card that I decorated with shapes from the Cricut cartridge Straight From The Nest.
This next one was decorated with some craft store embellishments and a butterfly punch.
This one I saw online and really wanted to make my own version. I think that it is a really cute way to send some love to someone far away. I cut the envelope from Cricut Wild Card and cut the hearts using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge.
I made this next card, the rosettes and the gift bag from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge as well. Art Philosophy is such a wonderful cartridge with so many different possibilities, you will NEVER get bored with it!

Camping Mini Album
My family and I have taken a few road trips over the years and we are about to take our biggest one yet. We are driving across country from our home here in beautiful Southern California to Virginia. I plan to take lots of pictures and I want to display them in a fun and creative way. As I was looking around on the Internet, I came across an album that someone else had made using the Campin' Critters Cartridge. I decided to do my own version and this is what I came up with!
It has a few more blank pages for pictures and journal writing that I didn't take pictures of. It is a good size book, I cut the pages at 6" and the decorations at 4". Once I arrange the pages how I want them to be I will attach them with jump rings and it will be ready for some pictures!
