Hello Everyone! Today I made a treat box using the
Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to my Heart. This is a quick and easy box that can be filled with many different items and used for any occasion. This project features papers from the
Chantilly paper pack as well as the
Chantilly card workshop.
I started with one sheet of 12x12
Kraft cardstock for the box. The box shape is on pg. 22 and I cut it at 11 1/4 inches. I used the My Acrylix stamp set called
Distressed Backgrounds and stamped all of the sides using my Brown Bag stamp pad. Then I inked the edges using the same ink.
I cut a 1/2" x 12" strip from a sheet of
Lagoon paper and then cut two 4" pieces from it. I used the
Lagoon stamp pad to ink the edges of each strip and adhere them to the front and back of the box. I also used the Lagoon ink pad to stamp the sentiment and frame. I used the My Acrylix stamp sets
Frame Flair and
Enjoy! Then, I cut three flowers from a piece of
Buttercup cardstock at 2, 2 1/2, 2 3/4 inches and three green flowers from the
green B&T duo sheet at 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4 inches.
